outlined below is an overview of the procedures for media
requesting IKEA product images, as well as product loan
requests.
Much as we will try our best to accommodate
all requests, we seek your kind understanding it may not
be possible for us to do fulfill all due to the high volume
of daily requests with tight deadlines, and thus we are
unable to guarantee fulfillment of all IKEA product image
and product loan requests from media outlets.
At this point in time, product loans
are only available to print media for feature purposes.
Interested parties from other forms of media are requested
to email Karen Chua at karen_chua@ikeastore.com.sg for further
discussions.

Product Images: Procedures
To facilitate the process for you and the IKEA store,
please advise us on the following:
- Specific IKEA product name and description.
- The color of the IKEA product
(many IKEA products are offered in multiple colors).
- The size of the IKEA product (many
IKEA products are available in a variety of sizes).
- Please indicate the quantity of
the IKEA product(s) needed.
- The page number in the 2008 IKEA
Catalogue that the IKEA product image is located (please
indicate if the product image is not in the 2008 IKEA
Catalogue).
- Name of publication and targeted
month of issue, as well newsstand date.
- Please provide complete contact
information (full name, work/mobile phone numbers, email,
mailing address and name of print outlet).

Procedures
To facilitate the loan process between you and the IKEA
store, please make an appointment at least 2 days ahead
by calling Karen Chua at 6379 1982 or emailing karen_chua@ikeastore.com.sg.
Please also advise us on the following:
- Name of publication and targeted
month of issue, as well newsstand date.
- Please provide complete contact information (full name,
work/mobile phone numbers, email, mailing address and
name of print outlet).

Product Images and Loans: Important points to note
- Requests to borrow products for
use as props will not be entertained. The IKEA store defines
the use of products as props when the product is used
as decoration or embellishment of a feature in which the
main focus is not on the product itself. For instance,
if you intend to borrow a cushion for a model to lean
on or cookware for a story, this is considered propping,
even if you credit the IKEA store.
- Please refrain from featuring
products without checking with IKEA on availability.
- Loan products must be photographed
and shown in totality as a feature.
- IKEA requires the following brand
credit when featuring an IKEA product loan item: Product
name, price, the IKEA store (e.g. KLIPPAN sofa, $295,
the IKEA store)
- Product loans are usually suspended
during sale periods or selected in-store activities (seasonal
products).
- Seasonal products such as the
summer or Christmas range may not be featured past their
availability period, which will be made known to you at
point of request.
- Location for product return:

Hours for return are: 10am to 12pm and 2pm to 5pm, Monday
to Friday only
- We seek your understanding that
products must be returned with original packaging and
in good condition within 14 days. Items that are
damaged, unaccounted for, or returned without original
packaging will be billed to the borrower and publication
in full.
- Please send copies of the publication
featuring the IKEA product loan item to:
